Digital Marketing Specialist

KR Creative Strategies is a growing marketing agency working with small to medium-sized agriculture and natural resource organizations to manage marketing strategies (including SEO, PPC campaigns, content marketing), websites, and custom video projects. The Digital Marketing Specialist will collaborate with the KRCS Team and freelancers to meet client objectives. They will support the Digital Marketing Manager in strategic planning, analyzing digital marketing trends, managing email campaigns, creating and maintaining Google Ads, website maintenance, and report channel analytics.

We are looking for a part-time employee, or freelance contractor, who can work with us up to 20 hours per week.  We allow remote work for this position, but you must be willing to work within the Pacific time zone hours of regular business for most duties. Candidates should be creative self-starters who are motivated and can work both independently and with a team. They must enjoy working with people, as they will be communicating often internally and externally.


  • Assists in the creation of relevant digital campaigns based on market demographics, respond to online customer inquiries and reviews, and foster community growth.

  • Aids in the maintenance of KR Creative Strategies and client websites.

  • Collaborates to create optimized landing page content (for optimal quality score).

  • Assist with the creation of monthly newsletters and email marketing campaigns.

  • Writes clear and engaging content, consistent with the client brands and further key messaging in a variety of formats (landing pages, presentations, social media content, ad copy, email blasts, etc). 

  • Uses best practices to build and optimize Google Ads Campaigns, ad groups, ads and extensions, target geos, ad copy, and keywords.

  • Assist with other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in web design, advertising, marketing, communications, or equivalent 

  • 1-2 years of experience

  • Understanding of SEO best practices

  • Familiar with tracking systems including Google Analytics, GTM, and other attribution tracking services

  • Proficient in Google Suite/Microsoft Office 

  • Experience with project management 

  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS

  • Careful attention to detail and eagerness to learn

  • A team player who is eager to grow their responsibilities, personal knowledge base and expand their role within the company 

  • Reliable, consistent, able to make decisions, flexible, able to make changes based on team's or clients' requests

  • Has a persistent curiosity about the media landscape and is able to support client goals efficiently

  • Genuinely interested in and excited by digital marketing

Bonus Attributes

  • Working knowledge of agriculture and/or natural resources

  • Familiar with Adobe Suite/Canva/Procreate

  • Experience in email marketing, graphic design, and/or social media communication

  • Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Rush, or other video editing platforms 

  • MailChimp/Email marketing platforms experience 

  • Understanding of Facebook advertising campaigns

  • Familiarity with Wrike


  • Part-time hourly position or freelance rate to be negotiated
